The 40th Ethnic Festival in Kansas City has concluded.
Our team worked very hard to make this event enjoyable, fun and festive.
Our fashion team presented ethnic costumes: Russian, Tatar and Kabardino-Balkarian - Zhanna and Leyla; Tatar - Lana; and Kabardino-Balkarian - Viktoria.
We thank our multiethnic group of volunteers that worked long hours during the festival: Nour, Zhanna, Leyla, Jeff, Don, Elena, Svetlana, Ruth, Maks, Niko, Vito, Denise, Leo, Oskar, Tatiana, Masha, Vera, Maria, Galina, Oleksandr, Ilya, Dean, Vladimir, Oliver, Elmira, Natalia and Lana.

Our Asya Papinako Scholarship is available for local high school students.
1. a high school student or a current year graduate;
2. a members of our organization (a minimum of 1 year);
3. an active volunteer and promoter of our culture;
4. scholarship is to be used for school expenses including supplies.
Asya Papinako was a great professional. She was actively involved in the Russian-speaking community of Kansas City. We are honored to keep Mrs. Asya Papinako's memory alive. We thank Ilya Papinako for sharing his family story with us. Our first Asya Papinako Scholarship recipient was Anton Owens.
